Jodie
Originally trained in the UK, Jodie holds a City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Dog Grooming. Seeking a warmer climate and the opportunity to raise her two sons in a bilingual environment, she and her husband Lee relocated to Spain 17 years ago. It was here that Jodie turned her passion into reality by establishing The Groom Room. Over the years, her business has flourished, earning a stellar reputation for high-quality grooming and professional training. Jodie has had the privilege of teaching aspiring dog groomers from around the world, making her a respected international grooming instructor. With a wealth of experience and a true love for the craft, she is excited to continue sharing her knowledge and skills with future dog groomers.
Ellie
Our Enthusiastic Apprentice! We’re thrilled to introduce Ellie, our wonderful apprentice who will be with us for the foreseeable future! Ellie has a deep love for dogs and is passionate about making them look and feel their best. With a keen eye for detail and a caring touch, she’s eager to learn all the tricks of the trade on her journey to becoming a fully-fledged dog groomer. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she already has a special way of making every pup feel at ease. Whether it’s a playful pup or a pampered pooch, Ellie is dedicated to giving them the best care possible. We’re excited to have her on board—be sure to say hello next time you visit!
Grace
Grace brings an incredible 17 years of grooming experience to our team here at Jodie’s Groom Room. Before moving to Spain, she owned and ran a very successful grooming parlour in Ireland, building a loyal client base and an outstanding reputation for her skill, care, and professionalism. A few years ago, Grace made the move to sunny Spain, and since the day we met she’s been lending a helping hand whenever she could. What started as helping out “on and off” has grown into something much more — and we are so proud to now call her a valued, permanent member of our team. Grace is not only a highly experienced groomer, but she’s also one of those people who fills a room with laughter. She’s funny, warm, and completely devoted to the dogs in her care. Our customers adore her, our students love learning from her, and the dogs absolutely light up when they see her. Her experience, kindness, and natural way with both people and pups make her such a special part of Jodie’s Groom Room. We truly feel lucky to have her with us
